It is a great pleasure for me to cordially invite you to attend
the 7th International Symposium on Chromatography of Natural Products, joined with the 6th International Symposium of the International Society for the Development
of Natural Products, which will be held from 14 to 17 June, 2010 in Lublin (Poland) under auspices of the Polish Academy of Sciences.

 

             The scientific programme covers a lot of important areas and current aspects of the chromatographic and related techniques as well hyphenated methods. Modern chromatographic techniques coupled with spectral detection methods (GC-MS, LC-MS, LC-NMR) which allow the structure elucidation  of separated and isolated active compounds will be presented. Natural products used in traditional medicine especially in Asia, Indonesia, Africa and South America are also the main components of new registered herbal products used in therapy and prevention of many diseases. The development of new methods of phytochemical analysis, biological and pharmacological tests for the examination of natural product activity will be also discussed during the joined Symposium.

The Symposium will be held in the Congress Center of Medical University
of Lublin. More than thirty outstanding specialists from European, Asian and American countries are invited with plenary lectures on chromatographic methods and phytochemical analysis of  biologically active compounds.
On behalf of the Scientific and Organizing Committees I will have a great honor to host in Lublin all participants  of this Symposium, representing numerous universities, scientific and technological institutes, research centers as well as pharmaceutical industry, who come from more than 40 countries.
Lublin is the biggest university town (more then 100.000 students and 300.000 habitants) in the eastern part of Poland with over 750 years old historical bildings, places, a great number   of museums and architectural monuments. The overview
of Lublin region is included in the Symposium social program. During the Symposium the exhibitions of modern analytical equipment as well as natural medicinal products and dietary supplements produced by famous Polish herbal companies will be organized.

              We look forward to welcoming and hosting you in Lublin on the occasion
